Another beautiful frosty morning
My neighbor's yard
When I went outside at 7:30 this morning I saw the sun rising over the misty mountains and I had to share it with you. It was 27 degrees with a layer of frost.
I am 50 something, married, with two boys. For the past 33 years we have been living in crazy South Florida. My hubby retired early and wanted to move to a small town in North Carolina, which reminds us of the little town where we grew up in New York. I had to leave my dream job, school librarian, and all of the friends I had made over the years. Not to mention the stores, restaurants, great winter weather and did I mention stores?
Andrew, our oldest, is married and moving to Daytona to go to school. Chris is in the army reserves and will be moving to NC in October.
So here we are, living in a town of 1,000 people. I plan to get out there and start meeting people, learn how to play golf, do yoga, exercise, volunteer, join a church and take advantage of all Ashe County has to offer. And you can follow me.
